This policy explains the limited information used to operate, measure, and, after approval, support Stoneshard Wiki with advertising.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic, page usage, language, device, and referral patterns. Google Analytics may process identifiers, IP-derived location, device information, and cookies or similar technologies according to your browser and consent choices.
Advertising
The site may use Google AdSense after the site and publisher account are approved. Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to serve, limit, personalize, and measure advertising. Advertising code is not enabled until a valid publisher identifier is configured.
Consent and choices
The site uses advanced Google Consent Mode. Advertising storage, advertising user data and personalization default to denied. Analytics storage also defaults to denied in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, and is allowed elsewhere. Google determines the region independently of page language. Defaults precede analytics configuration and events, with a 500 ms wait for updates. Denied consent can still send cookieless measurement or advertising signals to Google. The Google-certified CMP updates choices; unknown, unconfigured or failed states retain the regional defaults. When the CMP is ready and applicable, footer settings let you change or withdraw choices. Without a publisher ID, ads and the CMP are disabled; analytics keeps its regional defaults.
Browser controls can also block or remove cookies, although some measurement or advertising features may then be limited.
Data sharing and retention
The site does not sell visitor contact details. Service providers process technical data only for operating, securing, measuring, or monetizing the site under their own terms and the settings selected by the site maintainer. Retention follows the applicable service configuration and legal requirements.
